Well, I officially jumped on the bandwagon and made some banana bread this afternoon. I went with the simplest recipe I could find (3 ingredients?!) so my expectations aren’t very high...😂🤷🏼♀️⠀

It feels like all I’ve been doing lately is putzing around my house trying to figure out what to do! So I’m filling my time with small projects like spraying the dandelions that have taken over our front yard (sorry neighbors!), painting our window trim, and fixing the photos that have dropped in their frames. BUT we have some big and exciting plans in our future!! I’ve reached out to a few contractors and we’re meeting (with 😷) with the first one today to talk about moving our laundry room and finishing our basement. ⠀

We’re getting used to our new norm of #stayinghome and are trying to focus on all that we can still do! Long walks, lots of FaceTime, and of course, rearranging pillows! Sounds pretty great, right?! A little bit about us....⠀
Let’s be real...these type of posts are the worst!! I mean, un-abandon self promotion? On social media?? You’re really putting yourself out there for scrutiny! But, Stephanie and I thought we would be brave, find a picture of us (that neither of us really like) and tell you a little but about who we are. I really don’t want to write a novel here, who wants to read that?! So, I thought I would share a few fun facts.....🤪 ⠀

1.) We both love great design but tend to have different styles. (More about this later!😜)⠀
1.) We shared more that 1,487 images via text over the last year! I mean, that’s crazy! Right? ⠀
2.) Stephanie has a little girl (adorable? yes! Toys everywhere? Also, yes!) I have 2 high school boys. (Handsome? I think so! A house that smells like a locker room? Definitely!) ⠀
3.) We literally had a conversation on which is better; the Swiss Roll (Stephanie) or Ho-Hos (Audrie). It’s a wonder that we get any work done at all! 😂😂⠀
3.) Stephanie’s design style leans towards transitional with a blend of mid-century & modern farmhouse, all with a neutral color palette. 🤍
4.) My style is a bit more classic Ralph Lauren with bits of preppy southern style mixed in. I love lots of layers and lots of navy. 💙
5.) While we may differ on design style - and choice of snack cakes!🤣- we agree that a great design is timeless, much like each of our individual styles. Great design doesn’t necessarily follow the rules, it doesn’t fit into one category or time period. The design lines can blur and the results can be beautiful! ⠀
