I’ve put off sharing our kitchen for so long because I feel like it’s still a work-in-progress! I wanted to have everyyytthhinngg done! Lighting changed and a fresh loaf of bread on the counter (so you think I regularly make homemade bread), but these things take time. And $$$. And learning how to make bread! 😆⠀

We’ve officially packed away Christmas in our house, but I couldn’t help but share a bit of the decor we had up!⠀

I don’t know about you guys, but this holiday season kicked my butt! We’ve been caught in this nasty cycle of sickness that goes: kid -> mom -> dad -> break -> repeat. But I’m ready to kick off a new year with new goals!⠀

I’ve chosen ‘simplify’ as my word for 2020...in regards to design, organization, and finances. A ‘less is more’ kind of motto. Have you chosen a word to live by or a resolution to kick off the roaring ‘20s?⠀

For those of you that have lived through a remodel-and stayed in your house during ALL OF IT! I feel your pain! 😫😫 While, I can see a small glimmer of light at the end of a very long tunnel- my patience wearing veeerrryy thin. Anyone else been there?? My poor family- they are troopers for putting up with me and rolling along with things like the patio table hanging out in the middle of our family room! 💙 😂
